Hi, I’m Ashley Lind, M.S. Ed., CCC-SLP, the founder and owner of The Speech Nook. I am an ASHA-certified and New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, and I earned my Master of Science in Education in Speech-Language Pathology from Buffalo State University. I have experience working with individuals from birth through adulthood across private practice, school-based settings, and early intervention (birth-3) in home services, where I’ve had the opportunity to build meaningful connections with children and their families. I am deeply passionate about helping children find their voice and build confidence in their communication skills. I truly love the work I do and feel honored to support each child and family on their journey!

I believe the most meaningful progress happens through strong, trusting relationships. My goal is to create a therapy experience that feels comfortable, collaborative, and empowering—not just for the child, but for the entire family. That belief is what inspired me to create The Speech Nook, a space where connection comes first, and confidence grows naturally.

When I’m not working, you can find me spending time with my family, cooking, or staying active. I love bringing that same warmth and energy into every session!
